The Ebac 3850e 21 Litre Dehumidifier is a great way to solve condensation, damp and mould problems. Reducing a buildings relative humidity to below 50% will stop the growth of moulds which can be unsightly and harmful to people with existing respiratory problems. 

There are 3 things to consider when looking to improve your indoor air quality, air should be clean, air should be fresh and the air should be the correct humidity. Use your Ebac dehumidifier to keep humidity levels below 50% and prevent dust mite infestations, mould and mildew growth and it also helps to inhibit bacteria.  At colder times of the year it is advisable to keep humidity levels below 40%, as this will help to prevent condensation on windows and surfaces.

The 3850e model is suitable for buildings of up to 225m² / 450m³, (equivalent to an average 5 bedroom property). With an extraction rate of up to 21 litres per day, the 3850e, Ebac's most powerful dehumidifier, will keep air moisture to a minimum and the manageable 2.5 litre tank makes it easy to remove and empty the collected water. 

Condensation Cure

You should start to notice an improvement in your condensation after just 1 day, however, it could take up to a month to get excess moisture in your home under control. Reducing condensation will help prevent mould build up on walls, ceilings and furniture.

Air Purification Mode

Replacement Filters

The Ebac 3850e Dehumidifier has a filter to remove dust from the air.  For optimum performance, this filter should be cleaned every month and replaced every 4 months.

It is easy to clean the filter, simply remove the filter from the rear of the unit by sliding the filter housing upwards, take the filter out of the housing and clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner with a soft furnishings attachment, then slide the filter housing back on to the rear panel of the dehumidifier.

Two options are available for replacement filters:

• Standard Filter Pack (Part No DIA023): 3 Standard Filters which remove dust particles.
• Activated Carbon Filter Pack (Part No DIA021): 3 Activated Carbon Filters which also remove odours from the air.
